KIRBY, ADDAMS, ARAGONES

MY INFLUENCES IN ART

Those three guys have been my inspiration through my formative years. I owe them a lot. They have influenced my style, ways of thinking and forms of expression in art. They are all legends on their own: JACK "The King" KIRBY has done it all !!! Creator of Spiderman, the Fantastic Four and many, many more characters . His dynamic poses and storytelling shaped the look of superheroes and the way comics look nowdays. Neal Addams narrative, layouts and characterization brought comics to a higher an unsuspected level. His work on Batman, Deadman and Green Lantern/Green Arrow (to name just a few) are Masterpieces! And last but not least, Sergio Aragonés, MAD's Madman , a true master in "pantomime" His cartoons are worth a thousand words! "Nuff said."

I looked through your gallery and you've got some really great stuff. I particularly liked 'no place for evil' and 'the earring'. A lot of your humorous work is reminiscent of The Perry Bible Fellowship combined with Garry Larson.

Oh, and by the way, I love Aragonés too. (If you're referring to Sergio Aragones, that is.)
